ARM devices & hard routers
Same as the hardware list, plus hard routers like Xiaomi AX9000.
Prerequisite: you need a device already flashed with iStoreOS. If not, follow the official installation guide first.
Quick Start
1. Get the device online
Connect the device to your network as a main router, side router, or pure host:
| Scenario | Mode | Wiring | Key config |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 port | Side router | Single port to switch/main router LAN | Static IP, DHCP disabled |
| 1 port | Pure host | Same as above | DHCP client enabled |
| Multiple ports | Main router | First port (WAN) to modem; rest (LAN) to devices | WAN access + LAN DHCP |
| Multiple ports | Side router | LAN port to main router LAN | Static IP, DHCP disabled |
| Multiple ports | Pure host | WAN to main network | DHCP client enabled |
2. Access the device
- Default username:
root, default password:password - Main router (wired): browse
192.168.100.1 - Side router / pure host: get the device IP from the upstream router, then browse it
- If inaccessible: try setting WAN firewall inbound to "accept"
3. Network configuration (Network Wizard)
- Broadband dial-up: enter the broadband account and password
- Connect to existing router: DHCP (automatic IP) or static IP (IP in the upstream subnet, mask 255.255.255.0, gateway = upstream router IP, DNS manually)
- Side router config: static IP in the upstream subnet, gateway = upstream router IP, then point clients' gateways to the iStoreOS IP
- IPv6 config: multiple official scenario guides (dial-up + side router, etc.)
4. Quick setup
Wizard-based installation and configuration of common software.
5. App center
Rich app ecosystem; see the official iStore app center docs for details.
